Phoebe Dynevor’s sister is sharing details of her emotional reaction to her surprise proposal.
TheBridgertonstar, 29, sparkedengagement rumorsto actorCameron Fuller, 29, on May 6, 2024, when she debuted her stunning diamond ring at theMet Gala. Soon after,E! Newsconfirmed the engagement. Nine months later, Phoebe’s younger sister, Hattie, is now opening up about the intimate marriage proposal.
Hattie, 21, revealed that Fuller proposed while the family enjoyed a holiday together in the English countryside in May.

“All the family were there,” the fellow actress continued. “She was crying her eyes out — it was tears of happiness.”
During her appearance on theTodayshow in January, Phoebe said that she and her fiancéhaven’t set a wedding date. Hattie confirmed that there’s also still no fixed date.
“I’m not sure when she’s getting married,” Hattie admitted. “I think they’re just enjoying the engagement at the moment.”
“Their engagement was such a lovely weekend. She’s not even thought about [the wedding] yet. She’s not even started thinking about anything yet,” she continued.
Phoebe also hasn’t solidified who will be in her bridal party, but Hattie “hopes” she’ll ask her.

On May 12, 2024, Fuller announced his engagement viaInstagram, showing off photos from the moment right after he popped the question. In the heartwarming photos, the groom-to-be can be seen hugging Phoebe from behind as holds her hands to her face — showing off her diamond engagement ring in the process.
Fuller — the son of Hollywood producer Brad Fuller — captioned the engagement post with a simple “💘.” His fiancée also shared his post on her Instagram Stories.
The couple have kept their relationship mostly private and have not publicly discussed when or how they first met, but they were first linked in March 2023 when they were spotted leaving a hotel in New York City. They were then photographed together again in April 2023 as theywent for a stroll in London, and seen laughing and chatting in the stands at Wimbledon in July 2023.
Phoebe and her fiancé made their first appearance together as an engaged couple at the 2024U.S. Open.
In December 2024, Phoebe’s mother, Sally, spoke toHello!about the future nuptials.
“There aren’t any wedding plans yet because they’re both so busy — I keep trying to remind her not to stress about it, there’s no rush,” said Sally, who noted that she “can’t wait” and that the wedding will “be amazing, whenever and wherever it is.”
