Jenna Johnsonis counting down the days until she says “I do” toVal Chmerkovskiy!
Earlier this week, theDancing with the Starspro, who said“yes” to Chmerkovskiy last June, opened up about the “crazy whirlwind” that it has been to plan her wedding while on theDancing with the Stars: Live!tourwith her fiancé.
“As tour is coming to an end, the realization that I am getting closer and closer to being married is hitting me!! It has been a crazy whirlwind trying to plan my dream day on the road as well as dance my heart for all our beautiful fans at night,” Johnson, 24, captioned an Instagram photo from her time in a bridal salon, where she tried on wedding dresses.
“I’m forever grateful for these past few months and even more excited for what’s to come 👰🏻,” she shared. “(PSA… NOT MY WEDDING DRESS. Just one of the many I tried on and loved).”
While the cross-country tour, which began in December, has required Johnson and Chmerkovskiy, 32, to perform almost every night alongside their fellow tourmates, she’s still making time to let loose off the dance floor.

“I have the BEST girlies in the whole wide world,” Johnson captioned a series of photos, captured during her girls only party, on Wednesday.
The bride-to-be also got in some one-to-one time with Chmerkovskiy on Wednesday evening, when they enjoyed a date night together.

The couple dated off-and-on beginning in 2015, but began publicly sharing their love story in 2017.
In June, Chmerkovskiy proposed to Johnson in Venice, Italy, where he got down on one knee and popped the question with adiamond sparkler. Chmerkovskiy worked with Jacob Arabo of Jacob & Co. to designJohnson’s rectangular cushion-cut diamond ringand secretly kept it in his backpack during the trip so Johnson couldn’t find it.
As for his decision to propose in the Italian city, Chmerkovskiy told PEOPLE that he’s known since he was a teenager that one day he would get down on one knee there.
“When I was 17, I visited Venice for the first time and thought it was the most romantic place in the world. I promised myself then that the next time I would come back to Venice was to propose to the woman I’d want to spend the rest of my life with,” Chmerkovskiy told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “Fifteen years later I kept my word. It was perfect.”
Chmerkovskiy added of Johnson, “My life has changed because of [her,] and I find myself to be the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. She’s awesome.”
In September, the coupleopened up to PEOPLEabout their 2019 nuptials, which Chmerkovskiy insisted is going to be similar to “My Big Fat Greek WeddingtmeetsEastern PromisesmeetsMeet the Parents.”
“A big reason why I fell in love with Jenna was how much she cherishes her family. And my family means the world to me. Our families are very different but the common denominator is love,” he said. “Together we can build a bigger family and create a bigger village.”
