A couple with a combined age of 202 have proven that it’s never too late to find love.
When Fiterman and Littman’s previous spouses died, whom they were each married to for more than 60 years, neither of them expected to find love again at their age. But that’s exactly what happened shortly after they moved into the same floor of a senior living facility in Philadelphia, according to Guinness World Records.

The couple — who happened to have attended the University of Pennsylvania at the same time but never crossed paths — quickly fell in love after meeting at a costume party on their floor. They were in a relationship for nine years before tying the knot on May 19.
Rabbi Adam Wohlberg officiated the ceremony, which took place at the retirement home and incorporated Jewish wedding traditions.
Four generations of Littman’s family came to celebrate. He was married for 65 years to his late wife Bernice and shared with her two children, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His granddaughter, Sarah Sicherman, toldThe Jewish Chroniclethat the entire family was “thrilled” for the couple and that they were “so lucky to have found each other and be a support to each other, especially during the pandemic.”
Fiterman did not have any children with her first husband, who died in 1999.

“Each of you has already amassed a lifetime of wisdom and experience, and your attitudes, feelings and opinions are pretty well formulated at this point,” the Rabbi said in his speech.
He continued: “That’s not to suggest that you won’t continue to learn and develop as people. But I think it is safe to say each of you, what you know and understand about each other, is exactly what the future holds for you and your partner. And what you have determined you love about each other – well, those things are not about to change.”
