Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPagliais ready to get back into the dating game.
In a recent interview withElite Daily, the 25-year-old influencer opened up about her new perspective on looking for love in the wake of hercontentious public breakupwithZach Bryan.
“I feel so emotionally unavailable, which is a little upsetting,” she toldElite Daily. “There have been some really great guys that I think would be amazing for me, but I’m emotionally f——d up right now, where I can’t even fathom the idea of letting someone in.”

However, theBFFs Podcastco-host — whose breakup with Bryan, 28, was publicly announced at the end of October 2024 — considered what dating could look like for herself when she’s ready to do so.
“I just want a normal person that can laugh with me, and someone that understands my life, but isn’t in the same realm,” she said of potentially starting a romance with someone out of the spotlight.
In the wake of her breakup, LaPaglia — who’s previously identified as bisexual and said on aBFFsepisodethat she might be “fully a lesbian” — told the outlet that several women slid into her DMs to ask her out following her public split.

“There were actually some kind of famous women reaching out to me, and I was like, ‘What? I didn’t even know you were gay,'” she toldElite Daily. “I feel like I’m late to the game, and it’s really intimidating.”
She continued, “I’m 25, I’m going to go on my first date with a girl? Everyone in New York is a lesbian, so they’ve been doing it forever.”
LaPaglia and Bryan met for the first time at the Country Music Awards in May 2023 and confirmedthey were dating on her PlanBri Uncut podcast. They later celebrated theirone-year anniversaryon July 14, 2024.

Bryan hasn’t publicly spoken about their breakup since publicly announcing their split on social media that October. LaPaglia, meanwhile, has candidly opened up about it on social media and in interviews.
“Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to share anything and that I could have just healed, and dealt with things privately,” she toldElite Daily. “But those weren’t the cards I was dealt.”
“I have to remember it’s only been four months,” she reflected on the time it’s been since the breakup. “I still have really bad days, and I still have PTSD,” she added. “So, who knows how long it’ll take?”
