Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPagliais setting the record straight.
The 25-year-old social media personality clarified her relationship status in a newTikTokposted on Jan. 1 amid rumors that she entered a new romanceafter her contentious breakupwithZach Bryanwas made public at the end of October 2024.
“Also, I don’t have a boyfriend,” the content creator said in the clip. “Everyone thinks I have a boyfriend, probably from my Instagram Stories this weekend, but I don’t have a boyfriend. Maybe one day, but not this day or not tomorrow.”
LaPaglia opened up about her breakup with the country singer for the first time on theBFF’s Podcaston Nov. 7, sharing details of her past romance with cohosts Josh Richards, 22, andDave Portnoy, 47. She alsoaccused the singer of emotional abusethroughout their relationship together.

Also in the episode, Portnoy teased that he’d be leaving theBFF’s Podcastat the end of 2024. “Yeah. It’s definitely gonna be a new pod,” she previously said on theNov. 7 episodeof the show, with Richards adding he and LaPaglia would be in person “much more” than before.
TheBFF’s Podcastwill return on Wednesday, Jan. 8 with cohosts LaPaglia and Richards, marking the first episode of the year along with a slew of changes like new segments and a revamped logo.
In LaPaglia’s Jan. 1 TikTok, she confirmed the podcast’s return and release date. “Also BFF’s is coming back. We announced it. Jan. 8. That was always the plan. It’s just the first week in the New Year, so I’m heading to L.A. in two days,” she confirmed in the clip.

In the Nov. 7 episode, where Portnoy first teased he’d be leaving the show at the end of 2024, he explained that a part of his reason to exit the podcast was because he was “getting older” and “talking about teenage drama [is] a little out of my wheelhouse now.”
TheBFF Podcastis a pop culture-focused show that covers a variety of topics about celebrity, TikTok and influencer gossip and news. Conversations are often comedic and unfiltered and sometimes feature guests to weigh in on topics and share their takes.
Richards and Portnoy first started theBFF’s Podcastin 2020. LaPaglia, who was already hosting herPlanBri Uncutpodcast, joined them later that year.
After LaPaglia’s breakup from Bryan was made public, sheopened up about another relationshipin her life: her friendship with her longtime pal andPlanBri Uncutcohost Grace O’Malley. Her acknowledgment on the topic came amid rumors of a rift between the pair.
LaPaglia again shared her side of the story on a Dec. 11 episode of theBFFspodcast. “I’m always gonna have love for Grace [and] will always cherish everything that we did withPlanBri,” she explained in part.

One week later, O’Malleyannounced her departurefrom Barstool Sports on her Instagram Stories.
“I wanted you guys to hear from me first that this is my last day at Barstool. I’m so grateful to everyone at the company and to [Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy] for taking a chance on me. I’m just as surprised as you are there are no typos in this statement,” read the post uploaded on Dec. 16.
O’Malley, whose career has evolved from a social media personality to a stand-up comic over the past year, worked alongside LaPaglia, who started the podcast in college before asking O’Malley to join in 2022.
