Brandi Glanvillehas spent thousands of dollars trying to find a resolution to the unknown “parasite” that has caused her facial disfigurement over the past year.
TheReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsalumna recently spoke toEntertainment Tonightabout her health struggles and the growing frustration with not getting a diagnosis from medical professionals.
“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests. I did lab work for $10,000,” the 52-year-old told the outlet. “They ran every test under the sun. They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite that’s new.’”
“I’ve been on meds this whole year. I don’t socialize,” she added. “I don’t go out and I’m just spending all of my money on trying to figure out what’s wrong with me.”
Glanville said she’s spent “over $70,000” so far and every treatment she’s tried has only been a temporary fix. She admitted that she’s also been “stressed” dealing with the medical bills while not working for the past two years.

The reality star said she believes her health issues stem from her time in Morocco while filming theReal Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
“We had food sitting out for hours on end and some of it was meat,” she claimed. “Six months after I got back from Morocco, I started having this speaking thing and the swelling up thing. It started in July and we’re still here trying to figure it out.”
Glanville explained that she can see and feel the unknown “parasite” move within her face if she “messes with it,” and it looks like “tiny bubbles bursting” on her skin. “I feel like it’s s—ing or having babies in my face,” she added.
After visiting countless doctors, she says, “I’m not getting my hopes up anymore.”
“This is a horrible thing to say but even if it’s like a tumor, I want to know. I want to have just an answer,” she continued. “That would be amazing.”

On Dec. 7, Glanville posted aphotoon X, formerly Twitter, of the facial disfigurement she’s been experiencing. She toldETthat she decided to be transparent about her health simply because, “I was pissed off.”
“Everyone thinks I’m so tough but I’m fragile right now,” she revealed. “It’s a very fragile time for me. I don’t remember a day when I haven’t cried. So leave me the f— alone.”
As 2025 approaches, Glanville admitted that she’s just hoping to get on the other side of her health struggles next year.
“Honestly, health is wealth and that’s all I want,” she said.
