Brandi Glanvillewas hospitalized on Sunday after a collapse in her home led theReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsalum’s son to call emergency services.
“I collapsed at home this am and my SON had to call 911 for help! You guys have no idea the amount of stress I’m dealing with,” Glanville, 50,wrote on X(formerly known as Twitter).
Glanville shares two sons — Mason, 20, and Jake, 16 —with her ex-husband,Eddie Cibrian.
The reality star shared more details with PEOPLE exclusively: “They said it’s angiodema [swelling in hands and feet], stress-related, and we’re waiting for test results to come back,” she says. “No foul play at all — just stress.”
She continued: “I got high-dose intravenous steroid treatment for swelling, they kept me overnight and they are going to continue to have me on an oral steroid treatment until we figure out exactly what’s wrong along with bloodwork and fluids.”
The day after her collapse Glanvilleconfirmed that she was still in the hospitaland “really” wanted to go home. “Everyone at my hospital is super sweet, super hard-working and they’re getting ready to go on strike!” she wrote on Monday. “They REALLY deserve more!!! I do REALLY want to leave though 🙏.”

In another tweet posted on Sunday she alluded to the stress from the upcoming premiere ofReal Housewives Ultimate Girls Tripseason 4.
While her doctor was called “Dr. Cohen” — the same surname asAndy Cohen, executive producer of Bravo’sReal Housewivesfranchise — one of her nurses was called “Ciara,” with Glanville perhaps referring toSummer HousestarCiara Miller, who works as an ICU nurse and model when she’s not on the Bravo reality show.
Glanvilleleft filming forRHUGTin Morocco earlyafter sources told PEOPLE she took things too far with her costar Caroline Manzo, 62, during a party, allegedlykissing her multiple times throughout the evening without her consent.
“It was unwanted,” a source said at the time. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable.”

Once Glanville was made aware of Manzo’s feelings, she reportedly apologized in a text message the next day.
“Brandi has been prohibited from sharing her side of the story and in turn, people have only heard unsubstantiated versions,” a rep for the star previously told PEOPLE. “Brandi maintains her innocence and vehemently denies any wrongdoing.”
The trip to Marrakech was filmed in January.

At the time of the incident, representatives for Peacock and Shed Media told PEOPLE in a statement, “The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”
Glanville’s latest hospital stay is her second in recent years. In 2021,The Traitorsstar was hospitalized with what doctors believed to be aninfected spider bite, which caused her entire left hand to swell up to the size of a balloon.
“Hey guys, yes, I was admitted to the hospital yesterday and I have amazing first responders taking care of me!” Glanville captioned an Instagram photo of herself in a hospital bed with her arm raised. “We are not exactly sure what we are dealing with we believe it may be an infected spider bite. More tests to run 🙏🙏🙏.”
