“Happy birthday to the absolute loveliest and most genuine person in my life. Love you CP. @christinalperez,” Flay, 59, wrote in the caption accompanying the snapshots, which led off with a sunkissed selfie of the two.
Flay’s daughter Sophie also commented with heart emojis.
Pérez reposted his photos to her Instagram Story, and also showed off the bouquet of flowers her boyfriend got her earlier in the weekend.
The couple firstwent publicwith their relationship at the 2021 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
A month later, Flay opened up to PEOPLE about the early days of his relationship. “We were at an art gallery opening, and I walked over to two friends, and I was like, ‘What are you guys talking about?’ They were like, ‘We’re talking about you! It’s so nice to see you so happy,’ "

Pérez, a vegetarian, has had an impact on Flay’s methods in the kitchen. “She’s teaching me to cook with a lot less meat,” he revealed at the time.
Her eye for the culinary space also extends to Flay’s restaurants. He told PEOPLE in May that his “special lady” helped plan out the decor and menu at his latest Las Vegas restaurant,Brasserie B.
“Christina has spectacular style andshe’s just one of these people that just gets it. She understands style and class and if something doesn’t seem right to her, she’ll tell me,” he said. “Christina’s definitely one of the first people that gets a peek at anything that I do in terms of a new restaurant.”
