Warning:Blink Twicespoilers ahead!

Billionaire Slater King’s island paradise isn’t what it seems inBlink Twice.

The venom pulls Frida from a state of amnesia, and her brain is flooded with horrifying memories of abuse at the hands of the men on the island, including Slater.

During an interview withHollywood Insider, Kravitz said she wanted to explore the “concept of power” inBlink Twice.

So how didBlink Twiceend? Here’s everything to know about the movie’s final minutes, including if Frida gets off the island alive.

After Frida ingests the snake venom, she realizes that Jess has gone missing and that she has lost all concept of time. She alerts the other women on the island, but Sarah (Adria Arjona) is the only one who suspects that something isn’t quite right.

Frida and Sarah discover that the perfume they’ve been using while on the island is a concoction to erase their memories, and the only antidote is snake venom. This is also when Frida remembers that she’s been on the island before and comes to terms with the reality of their situation.

Sarah drinks the snake venom and suggests they mix it with tequila to get Camilla (Liz Caribel) and Heather (Trew Mullen) to drink it too.

Now armed with a gun, Sarah kills Cody before reuniting with Frida to go after Slater. Their plan backfires when they run out of ammo, and Sarah takes off running. While Slater is chasing Sarah, Frida puts perfume in his vape pen.

It looks like Slater is going to murder Sarah in front of Frida, but after a few puffs of his pen, his memories of the evening are erased — and he begins to spiral with fear. Slater knocks over candles and eventually trips, hitting his head on the corner of a table.

Frida and Sarah escape Slater’s burning mansion, but the pair don’t leave the billionaire behind. The film ends with one final scene, where viewers learn that Frida has married Slater and is now the CEO of his tech company.

While speaking toEntertainment Weekly, Kravitz described the ending ofBlink Twiceas “sweet revenge.”

“There’s a lot of open-ended questions that I hope spark conversations,” she said. “Is this the beginning of something or is this the end of something? Is it the continuation of something? I think those are all up for debate, and I’m curious what that makes people feel.”

At the beginning ofBlink Twice, Frida shares that her mom once told her that “success is the best revenge.” This motto likely informed Frida’s decision to marry Slater and take over his company, rather than kill him.

“There was a very early version of the script where things went down in flames, and [Slater] just died, and that was the end. And [Tatum] was just like, ‘Slater can’t die. It’s too easy,’ " Kravitz toldVanity Fair.

She added, “I’m very happy for Frida. I’m happy that she hopefully has a comfortable life now, and I’m also mortified at what she had to do to get there.”

Sarah survives the horrific events that transpired on Slater’s island, but it’s unclear what happens next to Arjona’s character. Sarah is not present in the final scene — leading viewers to assume she wanted no part in Frida’s revenge plan.

Frida and Sarah’s unlikely friendship inBlink Twicewas Kravitz’s “favorite relationship” to watch unfold. At the beginning of the film, Sarah is jealous of Frida and the attention she’s getting from Slater, but when things go sideways, the pair become fierce allies.

“I was interested in the situation where maybe we don’t like each other at first, maybe there’s this catty thing happening, but when s— hits the fan, none of that matters. And then we get to really see each other and take care of each other,” Kravitz toldEntertainment Weekly.

The phrase “red rabbit” is a major clue inBlink Twice. Viewers first hear the words when Frida arrives on the island and runs into a maid who seemingly knows only two words of English: “red rabbit.”

Their second interaction takes place in a circular room filled with perfume bottles. The maid utters “red rabbit” again and offers Frida the snake venom.

It isn’t until the movie’s end that viewers learn the meaning behind the phrase.

While trying to find her phone, Frida stumbles across dozens of Polaroid pictures, including an image of herself with long hair and red rabbits painted on her nails. It’s then that she figures out that she’s been on the island before but has no memory of it.

IsBlink Twicebased on a true story?

“When people talk about women, they talk about empowerment; when they talk about men, they talk about power. I wanted to create a character like Frida, who is attracted to power, and [ask] what does that mean? What will we do to get it?” Kravitz explained during an interview withBET.

“[Frida] doesn’t want Slater King; she wants tobeSlater King. And that’s really what the story is about, ultimately,” she explained.
