In her complaint, Lively alleges that Baldoni, who directed and starred alongside the actress in their filmIt Ends with Us, sexually harassed her during the production of the movie, with alleged misconductincluding showing her explicit images and videos, asking her about her personal sex life and attempting to add additional intimacy scenes to the film that she had not originally agreed to, PEOPLE previously reported. She also names lead producer Jamey Heath as participating in misconduct in the complaint (PEOPLE has reached out to Heath for comment.)

Although Lively said Baldoni agreed to the protections, the complaint alleges that the actor then hired crisis publicists tobegin a retaliatory smear campaign against her on social media and in the press.
Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s lawyer, called Lively’s allegations “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt” in a statement. He also said her complaint was lodged to “fix her negative reputation.”
Lively says in her complaint, which is a precursor to filing a discrimination lawsuit in California, that “she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma and extreme anxiety” because ofBaldoni’s behavior.
The complaint adds that “the emotional impact on Ms. Lively has been extreme, not only affecting her, but her family, including her husband and four children.”
