“He’s doing great. He’s doing really great,” his wifeSharontold BBC News. “He’s so excited about this, about being with the guys again and all his friends. It’s exciting for everyone.”

Osbourne previously mused about the idea of aBlack Sabbath reunion. Speaking withRolling Stonein September 2020, he said getting the band back together is “not for me.” “It’s done,” he added.

“The only thing I do regret is not doing the last farewell show in Birmingham with [drummer] Bill Ward. I felt really bad about that,” he reflected. “It would have been so nice. I don’t know what the circumstances behind it were, but it would have been nice. I’ve talked to him a few times…”

Osbourne continued, “but I don’t have any of the slightest interest in [doing another gig]. Maybe Tony’s getting bored now.”
