Tanner Tolbert‘s wish has been granted!
AfterJade Roper Tolbertand her husband first shared the happy news that they’d bewelcoming their second childtogether, Jade told PEOPLE that Tannerhad his heart set on a mini-me— and luckily for him, the couple has just revealed they’re having a son.
“IT’S A BOY!” Jadecaptioned a pair of joyful photoson Instagram Monday, showing family members spraying the couple with canned blue streamers.
TheBachelor in Paradisealums are also parents to 18-month-old daughterEmerson “Emmy” Avery.
“Tanner is too impatientfor it to be a surprise!” she explained with a laugh. “Tanner definitely would still love a boy, but now that we have Emmy, he loves being a girl dad.”
Months earlier, when the couple first shared that they weretrying to get pregnant again, Tanner revealed that regardless of whether they ended up having a boy or a girl, he hoped they would welcome a son someday.
“I want to at least have one [son],” Tanner, 31, told PEOPLE last April. “We joke and I tell her that she’s going to have to keep on trying until we get that boy.”

“I mean,if we had four girls… I’m not saying I wouldn’t try again,” he explained, adding that he wants “to experience both” sexes — however, he knows “it’s not [his] body.”
“Actually, our next one, I would love to have a girl if I could choose,” she said. “Ilike the idea of sisters, and then a boy.”

The spousesrevealed Jade’s pregnancy on Instagramin January, with a sweet set ofsnapshots taken on the beachand featuring their adorable toddler Emmy.
“16 weeks#bumpdateI am the size of a pickle … and still giving mommy some morning sickness but that’s okay … she will love me anyways,”reads a February shotof Jade. “I am 4.5 inches long and weighing 4 ounces … my ears are starting to develop and I think I’m starting to hear my parents talk to me … see you all in August!”
