Billy Joelis coming to the small screen!
CBS announced on Sunday that the musician’s record-breaking 100th consecutive Madison Square Garden concert will be recorded when it takes place on March 28, and later air on the network on April 14.
The program, officially titledThe 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden — The Greatest Arena Run of All Time, will mark the first time that Joel has ever aired a concert on a broadcast network.

Joel’s 100th consecutive show is a milestone of his record-breaking residency, which began in January 2014.

His MSG residency is set to come to an end later this year, following his150th lifetime showat the storied venue on July 25.

“After 10 years, we’ve done it,” Joel previouslytold PEOPLEat theLong Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF)in 2023 of his achievement. “I mean, I didn’t realize it would last 10 years.”
“And I don’t know how many shows it is, I’m sure somebody’s keeping track of it somewhere, but I’m amazed that we went this far, and I’m honored,” he added.
The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden — The Greatest Arena Run of All Timewill air on April 14 from 9 to 11 p.m. EST on CBS. It will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ as well.
