On Monday, theBooksmartactress, 31, shared a post on her Instagram Story, showing her son Kingston, 3, engrossed in the movieSingin’ in the Rain. This 1952 film starred Lourd’s grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, who passed away from a stroke on December 28, 2016, at the age of 84.
The photo shows the back of Lourd’s son’s head as he sits in front of the television, watching his great-grandmother donned in a pink flapper girl costume, singing. Staying with the color scheme, Lourd captioned the photo with three pink hearts.

However, Reynolds' movie isn’t the only significant film she hopes to introduce her son to.
Last year at Fisher’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Lourd shared more about showing her kidsher late mother Carrie Fisher’s body of workas she honored her mother at Fisher’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. “I can’t wait to bring my kids here when they’re old enough to understand how cool it is,” she shared.

The previous winter, Lourd opened up about her difficulty inbalancing her grief for her mom and the joy of being a mom herself.Besides Kingston, she is also a mom to daughter Jackson Joanne, 15 months, with husband Austen Rydell.
“Giving birth to my daughter and watching my son meet her have been two of the most magical moments I have ever experienced. But with the magic of life tends to come the reality of grief,” she continued. “My mom is not here to meet either of them and isn’t here to experience any of the magic.”
