Billie Eilishis opening up about her sex life — shortly after saying she never would again.
In her latestVanity Fairinterview (Eilish has done one with the publication each year since 2017, when she was 15) the singer, now 23, revealed that she has fulfilled her younger self’s desire to have “good sex.”
During one segment, the “Birds of a Feather” singer looks back at her previously unpublished 2023 interview, in which she listed some things she wants to accomplish, including “making new friends” and “having good sex.”
“I’ve done nothing but make friends all year and gotten so close with people that I wasn’t with before, and became friends with people I used to be friends with again,” Eilish explained. “It’s just been a year filled with friendship, which honestly, even though I was saying a lot of things that I want to do, that was the thing that I wanted to do and I really did it, and it was awesome.”
“And yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex,” she concluded before addressing her younger self directly: “So you’re welcome, Billie.”
This revelation about Eilish’s private life comes shortly after she stated in a different interview that shehad no plans to discuss her sexuality or personal relationships publiclygoing forward.
“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” she admitted toVogue. “And I hope that they never will again.”

“And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again,” she continued. “And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”
Explaining her decision further, the Grammy winner said she underestimated that the “things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world.”
She also toldVoguethat she’s still learning to navigate stardom, and plans to be more careful about her words in the future. “We’re all babies,” she said. “We’re all little kids growing up and learning ourselves.”
